Rich Ladies

So my Shakespeare seminar professor told me about this.
In north Berkeley there is a restaurant called Chez Panisse. It is a French restaurant where you need to make reservations a month in advance. It costs about 50 to 80 dollars per plate and dinner is served over a period of about 2.5 hours. The only time my professor ever ate at Chez Panisse in his forty years at Berkeley was for a very wealthy woman's wedding dinner.
So, the interesting thing about this woman is she had a stuffed animal hippopotamus. This hippopotamus got a seat at the table and was served every food item. I am told that the waiters didn't even act like they were serving a stuffed animal, but were totally professional.
This woman eventually got divorced. The couple had visiting rights for the hippo.
